Rainswept

Behind the groomed box wood hedges is 'Rainswept', a completely rebuilt 1920’s townhome blending timeless character with modern luxury. Gutted to the studs, this condominium is now 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence tucked in the heart of the sought-after Kay Catherine neighborhood, just moments from Newport’s vibrant downtown and waterfront. Enter through the shared foyer into a sun-filled living room featuring restored casement windows, custom built-in bookcases, crown moldings etc. and a charming (rebuilt) side porch. The owner reconfigured the first floor and added elegant powder room, a great addition. The gourmet kitchen boasts a center island, high-end finishes, good storage and opens to a beautifully landscaped rear garden with a new privacy fence. The second floor has been reconfigured into two spacious bedrooms both with custom closets and at the end of the hall a spa-inspired bathroom complete with a free-standing soaking tub, separate tiled shower and laundry. The third floor is dedicated to a private guest suite with a tiled gracious en suite bath. Additional highlights include a full unfinished basement for storage and expansion potential. A rare opportunity to own a historic yet fully reimagined home in one of Newport’s most desirable neighborhoods. Accessible to all Newport amenities.
